Your role: bringing regulation and day-to-day practice together

As a Compliance Officer, you help Intersolve remain demonstrably compliant and in control. You monitor developments in laws and regulations, advise the organisation and management, and assess whether risks and controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively. With your experience in the payments sector, you understand the complexities of payment services, electronic money and the customer and financial flows involved.

You work in the second line of defence and act as a trusted, independent adviser to management and colleagues across the business. You translate complex regulations into clear frameworks and practical advice. You ask critical questions, raise concerns and contribute to improvements that support sound and responsible business operations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Advising on compliance and integrity matters, as well as new products, processes and changes
  • Conducting compliance monitoring, reviews and risk assessments
  • Assessing whether risks have been adequately identified and controls are appropriate and effective
  • Monitoring and interpreting relevant and upcoming legislation and regulations, such as AMLR, PSR and PSD3
  • Contributing to compliance and risk reports, providing clear findings and actionable recommendations

You work closely with colleagues across KYC, Risk, Operations and Security. You understand what is happening across the business, bring different perspectives together and maintain an independent view of the risks involved. You provide clear, well-founded advice while keeping day-to-day operations in mind. Payments, technology and regulation are constantly evolving, and you thrive in this environment.
