Your role: strengthening the foundation of Intersolve

At Intersolve, everything centres around trust. As Head of Operational Resilience & Security (OR&S), you are responsible for the security, continuity, and resilience of our organisation. In a dynamic fintech environment, you provide a solid foundation on which Intersolve can continue to grow and innovate.

In this role, the development of both your team and the organization is key. You will start with the essentials: building and mentoring a team of dedicated specialists in Internal Control, Privacy, and Information Security. As their coach, you create an environment where they feel empowered to excel, both personally and professionally. From this strong foundation, you act as a vital bridge to the Board; you have a natural talent for translating complex challenges into clear, actionable advice that truly moves the organization forward.

You view regulations like DORA and ISO standards not as rigid obligations, but as opportunities to make our daily routines smarter and more secure. In doing so, you always maintain the perfect balance between necessary protection and the space needed for entrepreneurship and growth. Your helicopter view allows you to bring a sense of calm and clarity when coordinating risk assessments and incident processes, ensuring smooth and constructive collaboration with Risk, Compliance, and Audit. Your contribution to our ‘House of Policies’ completes the picture: you ensure that our agreements with partners and vendors are always transparent, fair, and securely established.

What you bring to the table

  • Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) level of working and thinking, preferably in economics, law and/or business administration. An (additional) technical background is a plus
  • Extensive experience in operational/non-financial risk, internal control or compliance
  • Experience in an IT and process-intensive environment
  • Demonstrable experience with frameworks such as COSO, ISO, DORA, ISAE or similar
  • Experience with management or clear ambition towards leadership
  • You communicate flawlessly in Dutch (essential) and can also express yourself clearly in English

  • A salary between €6,500 and €7,500 per month on a full-time basis, depending on knowledge and experience
