Your role: you ensure control in daily practice

At Intersolve, trust is fundamental. As Internal Control Officer, you ensure that our control framework is not just a reality on paper, but an integral part of our fintech operation. You monitor the quality and consistency of our internal controls and ensure that standards such as ISAE 3402, ISO 27001 and DORA are set up in a demonstrable and workable manner.

You play an important role in our further professionalisation towards a process-driven model. You are both analytical and practical: you test whether processes actually work as intended, identify areas for improvement and raise these for discussion at management level. Where necessary, you dive into operations yourself to understand the practice behind the processes.

In this role, you will translate legislation and regulations into concrete control measures that are in line with our organisation. You will coordinate internal controls and audits, supervise process owners and provide clear, factual reports that guide management. You will be critical when necessary, but always focused on improvement.

You will work closely with management, process owners, Security and Privacy Officers, and external auditors. By effectively organising the collaboration between the various lines, you will ensure the right balance between support and accountability. In this way, you will help build an organisation that is not only compliant, but also agile and ready for the future.
