Your role: building teams that make a difference

As IT People Lead, you are responsible for the development and performance of our IT department. You advise the CTO and focus on building an organisation where teams collaborate effectively, take ownership and deliver results.

You will manage around 20-25 IT professionals. This is not a role in which you write code or determine architecture yourself; your focus is on people and teams. You coach Team Leads and Senior Engineers, encourage ownership and ensure a safe and open working environment where feedback is standard practice.

As Intersolve is growing rapidly, you will continuously work on establishing a clear organisational structure. You will set up teams, clarify roles and responsibilities and strengthen collaboration between Development, Operations and Platform teams. In this way, you ensure predictable results and a stable foundation for further growth.

You take a long-term perspective. You advise the CTO on staffing, identify capability gaps and play an active role in hiring new colleagues. At the same time, you safeguard the balance between delivering new functionality and maintaining existing systems, using clear metrics to manage quality and speed effectively.

What you bring to the table

• Minimum higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering environments

• At least 4 years of experience in a leadership role managing engineers

• Experience leading larger teams (15+ FTE)

• Experience in fintech or an environment where systems must be available at all times is an advantage

• You are a unifying coach who brings calm and structure to a growing organisation

• A salary between €6,500 and €7,500 per month on a full-time basis, depending on knowledge and experience
