The card can be redeemed (online) at nearly all theatres in the Netherlands, the Nationale Theaterkassa, Eventim and a growing number of venues in Belgium. With more than 30,000 performances and concerts to choose from each year, the card helps to encourage cultural participation.

About Stichting Promotie Theater- en Concertbezoek (SPTC)

SPTC is a not-for-profit organisation with one clear mission: attracting more people to the performing arts. The Podium Cadeaukaart plays an important role in achieving this mission by making theatre and concert experiences easy to give and enjoy.

The Podium Cadeaukaart can be redeemed at hundreds of theatres and is available through thousands of points of sale, online channels and resellers. Each year, the card is used approximately 220,000 times to purchase theatre and concert tickets. As 90% of recipients attend a performance with someone else, this indirectly results in around 420,000 visitors per year.

With this approach, SPTC fulfils a distinct position within the sector. The organisation operates independently, without subsidies, donations or funding, ensuring its independence at all times. Revenue from the Podium Cadeaukaart flows back into the sector, including through ticket purchases and collective promotion.

A scalable programme without the complexity

The Podium Cadeaukaart is a closed-loop gift card. It can be redeemed at hundreds of locations, but only for the purchase of theatre and concert tickets. Intersolve handles the issuance, processing and financial settlement in a fully secure and reliable way.

Points of sale, accepting partners and resellers can easily connect through our partner network. Through Intersolve Plaza, the card is also made available to a wide network of (online) resellers, enabling distribution to scale easily without additional complexity.
